HFA was one of the first TILT-UP designers in the southeast, working with contractors such as Sam Hodges, Burl Tolar, Jim Guly and many more. Our TILT-UP design became a standard used by industry leaders. HFA has designed and engineered more than (12) million SqFt. of TILT-UP warehouse design. Our largest Tilt-UP buildings over 1.4 million gross square feet.
McClure
A steel frame structure with masonry bearing walls and brick veneer was used on this Regional Headquarters and Distribution Center. The brick is accented with granite veneer columns. A single membrane roof was used. Our services included Shell Design, Programming, Space Planning, and interior Design.
United Stationers
This is the Northeast Distribution Center for United Stationers. It is a 250,000 SF distribution facility with a two story office in the front. The center is constructed of brick and block and features 32’ clear height ceilings. Special feature services included racking, conveyers, and state-of-the-art deck levelers.
Peachtree Corners
A 40,000 SF multi-tenant distribution center located in Norcross, GA. These are 26’ clear height, steel frame structures. They are built using tilt-up concrete panels and B.U. roofing.
Czarnowski
This 100,000 SF Corporate Headquarters and Distribution Center is located in Atlanta, GA. This facility is constructed of tilt-up concrete panels with a steel frame. The unique design and color scheme are used to express the image that Czarnowski sets forth.
Atlanta Industrial Park
A multi-tenant distribution center encompassing 320,000 SF. These single story structures have 26’ clear height ceilings. Construction consists of a steel frame with concrete tilt-up panels and built-up roofing.
Northgate
These are multi-tenant distribution buildings totaling over 230,000 SF. They are single story structures with 26’ clear height constructed of steel frame, tilt-up load bearing concrete panels, and built-up roofing.
Arrowwood
A mixed-use development of 166 acres, the complex features office space, industrial areas, retail locations and build-to-suit space. This 110,000 SF multi-tenant distribution center has 24’ clear height ceilings. It is a single story structure constructed of steel frame with concrete tilt-up panels. A combination of metal and built-up roofing was used.
Intl. Airport Park
This multi-tenant, 36 acre distribution center was developed in phases. Phase one consisted of two buildings of 200,000 SF. Phase two was four buildings of 200,000 SF. These 18’ - 24’ clear height, steel frame, single story structures are constructed of tilt-up concrete panels with built-up roofing. In addition to design, our services included tenant space planning.
1200 Wilson Way Smyrna, Georgia
This is a 132,000 SF Distribution Center located in Cobb County, GA. It features a beautiful brick entrance accented with white columns. The loading dock is discretely placed in the rear of the facility offering an esthetically pleasing structure. A steel frame with brick veneer was used.
Lawson Mardon Peachtree City, Georgia
This Lawson Mardon facility contains a Corporate Office, Manufacturing Areas, and a Distribution Center. Constructed of tilt-up concrete panels, the 50,000 SF structure is a build-to-suit. Because of the use of highly volatile ink products, not only was a highly sophisticated and complex HVAC and ventilation system utilized, but the building is designed to be Explosion Resistant
GSA Warehouse Palmetto, Georgia
The Southeast Distribution Centers is located in Palmetto, Georgia. The facility is in excess of 1,320,000 SF. It integrates a large open floor plan with strategically placed office space to manage the enormous amount of products being distributed. It is constructed of tilt-up concrete panels and a steel frame. Metal roofing and walls were used
GSA Warehouse Burlington TS, New Jersey
The Northeast Distribution Center is 1,034,000 SF. This is a custom facility designed for the tremendous workload of the GSA for the Northeast Region. It is constructed of tilt-up concrete panels and a steel frame. Metal roofing and walls were used.
