A Certificate of Need is a complete set of documents, drawings, and costs that are required for all health care facilities that propose construction, acquisition of major medical equipment, changes in ownership and the addition of services. 

The process of completing an accurate C.O.N calls upon several unique disciplines. Harris Fritz has assembled a team of specialists from each discipline in order to produce complete Certificate of Need Packages.  

 Pre-C.O.N. Service:

Before a Certificate of Need is submitted, there are many steps that must be taken.  Harris Fritz works one-on-one with healthcare professionals in order to create a program that meets each client's individual needs.  First we listen to the client in order to have a clear understanding of what direction they wish to proceed and where they want their practice to be in the future.  Whether a new site is under consideration or an existing building is to be upgraded, Harris Fritz provides a highest and best use analysis.  This is critical in determining if the location is viable for the client's specific needs.   Preliminary designs may also be provided along with equipment needs and preliminary cost estimates of construction.
